PTB-R-200 Drag/Drift clutch -
Developed only for motorsport? not quite - but for those who are mostly on the track.
In contrast to other products, the pressure point is not excessively hard and you don't need a pedal limiter.
As a benefit, the clutch has increased contact pressure (clamping force of the clutch) and the pedal feel is also very easy to dose thanks to its tipping point.
The pressure plate and intermediate disc have a special shape/geometry to prevent thermal distortion.
In addition, these are already stress-relieved and nitrated. Thus, the discs have already seen a lot of heat and remain dimensionally stable.
Flanks on the contact surfaces prevent a notch effect in the aluminum body that is too rapid.
Power transmission is possible thanks to the 6Pad sinter discs, the larger surface area means better heat dissipation and excessive juddering is also avoided.
Thanks to the good quality of the sintered pads, nothing squeaks or wears out prematurely.

Core data pressure plate:
Height: 46.5mm
Diaphragm spring tensioned height: 42mm
Release force: 1900-2400-2000N (original clutches: 1700-2000-1800N)
Clamping force: 18000N
Center diameter: 201.98mm
Heel Height: 2.5mm
Warning:
There are free intermediate discs (floating), which means you can hear a kind of rattling when the clutch is pressed.
Due to the rigid system, gear devices are also available.
If you can't live with that or don't know if this system is right, please ask us, we also have many alternatives.
